Day 10 - Update

I intended to update this every day...

I have failed on that part!

But all in all, we have the following -

No cake - Tick
No chocolate - Tick
No sweets - Do Sugar Free Strepsils count?? Other than Strepsils.... Tick!

General calories, I have been pretty good. Tried to make sensible choices...

I miss my chocolate peanut butter Boossh shakes, definitely.

I have spent the last 2 to 3 days feeling completely bogged down with cold, and it sucks. I feel dreadful, I just want to eat and eat and eat and it is tough...

But I will beat this!

Sober October - Success so far!

Day Two - 02.10.2014

Last night I chipped my tooth again. Same place, bad luck.
I got an emergency dental appointment today, and she's patched it up. Because it is one of my front teeth, she says we'll have to see how it goes this time, and if it fails again, we'll consider a veneer... I don't know what that is, but asked her not to tell me til I need it done, just incase...!

She laughed...

My day in general has been ok. Work was fine, and food was actually not that bad at all. I caved and had a pizza, a whole one, but when I totted up the calories, I read it twice. Three times to be sure. It was 655 cals for the full thing. I thought it was for a half, but no, that was the full thing... So I tried to fail, and failed at failing. Hurrah!

Breakfast - 239 calories (9 checks)
Smoked Salmon and crackerbreads

Lunch - 291 calories (12 checks)
Thai Chicken Curry (RC)


Tea - 655 calories (26 checks)
Meat Feast Pizza

Evening TV snacks - 341 calories (10 checks)Nachos (250)
Muller Greek Fruitopolis Strawberry Yogurt (90)

= 57 Checks

Happy - Happy with this :D
Though part of me is saying to celebrate with a slice of toast ....

Day One – 01.10.2014

Today was ok actually! Part of me thought I was going to struggle, but it was fine. They had celebration bacon rolls and Danish pastries at work, and I declined.. Shocking! Shocked myself! Proud though!! 

Breakfast – 226 (9 checks)
Corned Beef sandwich on a Warburton Thin roll 

Mid Morning – 147 (6 checks)
Rosemary Ritz Crackers

Lunch – 352 (14 checks)
Mediterranean Tuna sandwich on a Warburton Thin roll (10)

Snack – 250 (10 checks)
Nachos! Tortilla chips, salsa and cheese

Tea – 241 (7 checks)
Quorn minted grill, with carrots and broccoli, with a Philly cheese sauce

'Twas the Night Before...

So here goes...

Starting the 1st October, I will be taking part in Sober October. I will therefore be following the rules set out below, throughout October -

* No booze
* No chocolate
* No cake
* 20 minutes of movement a day
* < 55 checks a day

I have to do this, enough is enough....x
